Meet the new properties joining the Historic Hotels of Europe

Chaírete, hallå, ciao! We at Historic Hotels of Europe are delighted to welcome four exceptional new properties to our group, each of which adds even more experiences, stellar services and unique ways to see the continent to our Collection. Get to know each enchanting entrant below.

1. Eressian Hotel & Hammam Spa: Lesbos, Greece

Eressian Hotel is the place to go for a soul-soothing holiday. This Lesbos-based charm is particularly renowned for its hammam and spa, where Eastern and Western treatments come together to offer new heights of relaxation. Sip on iced teas as you dip between pools, steam rooms and bespoke treatments: all the while knowing you’re in the best hands, with the hotel having recently snagged the title of ‘Small Hotel Spa of the Year’ at the Greek Hotel of the Year Awards. There are many other perks under this property’s roof, too, including a mouthwatering breakfast menu that features organic ingredients and specialties like the Eressian Eggs Benedict, made with sliced brioche and pork ‘kavourmas’. It’s truly delicious.

2. Hotel Chesa Grischuna: Klosters, Switzerland

If the mountains are calling, there’s only one place to go: Hotel Chesa Grischuna. Located in the quirky village of Klosters, this new Historic Hotels of Europe property offers prime access to alpine adventures of every kind. It’s a real visual treat, too. Packed with original charm, the chalet-style building was largely put together by local artists, smiths and architects, from its windows to woodworks and locks to tableware. Keep your eyes open for unique features as you traverse its rooms… and make sure to spend some time in the property’s lounge, where you can snuggle up next to a blazing figure with an aperitif or cocktail of your choice. We couldn’t imagine a better way to round off the day.

3. Esperas Hotel: Santorini, Greece

Back in Greek waters, Esperas Hotel was rated by Fodor’s Travel as one of the best places to see a famous Santorini sunset. That would be reason enough to consider booking a room here, but this property has many more dazzling elements, besides. Indulge your senses by enjoying fine Mediterranean cuisine in the on-site restaurant, or take part in nearby leisure activities like wine tasting, visiting the island’s museums or chartering a boat into azure waters. The accommodation here is amazing as well, with several of the hotel’s rooms, suites and houses offering access to private pools and jacuzzis. There’s plenty of ways to pass your time in this pocket of paradise.

4. Grand Hotel et de Milan: Milan, Italy

High-end glamour meets a remarkable heritage at the Grand Hotel et de Milan. This building emanates five-star elegance, from its character-packed dining and lounging areas to its regal suites, all wrapped up in the most opulent of atmospheres. It’s not hard to see why this family-run spot has been beloved by artists and celebrities, like the world-famous composer Maestro Giuseppe Verdi, since opening in 1863.
